Tamaki Intermediate Year 7 Cookies
This week in the cooking room it has been very fun and exciting. We made cookies. They were very easy to make. We used the recipe which was very easy to follow. One thing we learnt about cookies is that they burn easily so it is a good idea to cook them on low heat. Below is the recipe that we used. Try them, they taste yum!
Ingredients
4tbsp butter
2tbsp sugar
1tbsp condensed milk
3/4 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1. Cream together the butter and sugar until light, white and fluffy.
2. Add the condensed milk and mix well then stir in the sifted dry ingredients.
3. Take teaspoonful lots of the mixture and shape into round balls.
4. Place on a cold greased oven tray and flatten each ball with a fork.
5. Bake in a moderate oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
6. Cool on a wire rack.
Oven:180 degrees
Makes:16
