Sandwich styles are changing as the selection of breads and fillings expands. Sandwiches have become more varied and exciting. A sandwich used to be a simple filling placed between sliced bread, but now it can be a real meal. This week we made our sandwiches, using different kinds of bread and fillings. We had to choose our breads from the following list
Pita pocket
French stick
Vogels sandwich bread
Wraps
Then for the filling we had to choose from the list below
Shaved ham
Shaved chicken
Alfalfa sprouts
Grated carrts
Tomatoes
Lettuce
Cucumbers
margarine
Cheese slices
Mayonnaise
It was really exciting because we had to make sketches of our sandwiches before making them. So which meant that we had to make the sandwiches according our designs. They came out well,very colourful and they tasted really nice.
