This week has been very exciting. We made yummy Anzac biscuits, they were really nice and they came out very perfect. As you can see from the picture below, they were golden and they tasted really nice. The recipe was very simple to follow. If you wanna try them, the recipe is below, have a go!
Ingredients1c flour, 1c rollled oats, half c coconut, 3tsp golden syrup, 140g butter, 3tsp boiling water 1tsp baking soda
Method
Sift the flour into a bowl then add rolled oats, coconut and sugar.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and add golden syrup and water.
Add baking soda and allow to foam then pour immediately into the dry ingredients.
Mix well then take small amounts of the mixture and press out thinly on a greased oven tray allowing space between each for spreading.
Bake in a slow oven as they burn easily.
Leave them to cool on a wire rack. Enjoy!
Oven 180 degrees.
